Lung Tin Delegation Gathered in Singapore for the 2023 INTA Annual Meeting

 

From May 16th to 20th, 2023, the 145th International Trademark Association (INTA) Annual Meeting was held in the “Garden City”, Singapore. As one of the largest and most influential intellectual property global events, the INTA Annual Meeting is not only a conference themed on “trademarks”, but also an IP feast covering all categories of intellectual property business. It is such a good fit to hold this globally watched feast in a country known for its futuristic skyline, vibrant culture, and breathtaking natural beauty.

 

 

Over the years, Lung Tin has followed the INTA Annual Meeting through numerous destinations such as Orlando – the major tourist attraction, Barcelona - the flower of Europe, Seattle - the city of romance, Boston - the city of culture, and Washington - the city of politics. While showcasing ourselves and seeking cooperation, we also had face-to-face exchanges and learning with IP practitioners worldwide. This year, the Lung Tin delegation, led by board member Dr. Qinghong Xu, Deputy General Manager Mr. Jacob (Siyue) Zhang, and Trademark Department Manager Ms. Di Wu, marched into the INTA Annual Meeting to reunite with old and new friends from around the globe. We all have been looking forward to this moment for a long time!

 

     

 

The Lung Tin booth was still eye-catching. With a grand and atmospheric booth full of Chinese style, it set off a dazzling wave of at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Singapore. Clients and partners from various countries in the IP field come in flocks to discuss cooperation matters, hot topics, and share professional experiences with the Lung Tin delegation.

 

 

On May 19th, to further acquaint global clients and partners with the latest developments and changes in China’s intellectual property landscape, the Lung Tin delegation held a salon event themed “Updates on China’s Trademark and Patent Practice” at the Convention Center. The Lung Tin Deputy General Manager Mr. Jacob (Siyue) Zhang, Partner Ms. Boya Yin and Ms. Ping Sui, Senior Trademark Agent Mr. Lyuyun Wang and Mr. Mengchun Zhang, Partner of Beijing Lung Tin Law firm Ms. Xiaolei Li, conducted wonderful professional sharing around China’s trademark and patent prosecution and litigation practices combined with typical cases in recent years. It was of great practical significance and received unanimous praise from the clients and partners.

 

     

 

     

 

 

On this high-intensity and fast-paced INTA tour, the Lung Tin delegation gathered with old and new friends to exchange ideas, share experiences, explore professional issues while also experiencing the beauty of Singapore. During the day, Singapore is embraced by greenery, with every part of the city reflecting civilization, order, and multiculturalism. At night, Singapore is enchantingly illuminated with dazzling lights. The Ferris wheel in the night appears like a radiant ring, and the Sands Hotel at night seems like a starship that falls into the world. The city’s nightlife is dreamlike amidst the colorful lights.

 

     

 

     

 

During the five-day journey at INTA, the Lung Tin delegation had fruitful meetings, engaging in deep exchanges and communication with intellectual property partners from different countries, strengthening cooperative relationships, and building new cooperative bridges. The 2023 INTA Annual Meeting has come to an end, filled with the joy and emotion of a long-awaited reunion.
