Recently, the global leading intellectual property media, Managing Intellectual Property (MIP), unveiled its 2023 Leading Patent and Trademark List for China. Lung Tin has won four lists including patent prosecution, patent litigation, trademark prosecution, and trademark litigation.
 
 
Dr. Qinghong Xu has extensive expertise in various aspects of intellectual property law and business including patent, design, and trademark prosecution, invalidation, and litigation; trade secrets protection and litigation; technology licensing and transfer; enterprise intellectual property strategies; and more. She also provides advice to clients on laws and regulations related to drug approval processes by the Food and Drug Administration. Dr. Xu has rich experience in providing intellectual property services in life science fields and some mechanical, electronic and other technical fields. Dr. Xu has been working in the intellectual property industry since 2000 and has served many international well-known enterprises as clients. She specializes in handling European and American intellectual property legal affairs and is currently an attorney-at-law in the courts of New York and New Jersey and a registered patent attorney before the U.S. patent and Trademark Office.
 
 
 
 
Dr. Xu has conducted in-depth research on patent law, trademark law and related practices in China, Europe and the United States. She actively engages in intellectual property research and has been invited to give speeches and publish numerous professional articles worldwide by major international organizations. Mr. Jacob (Siyue) Zhang has expertise in patent prosecution, patent invalidity, patent administrative and civil litigation, patent strategy design and portfolio development, patent due diligence and freedom to operate investigation, patent analysis, intellectual property anti-counterfeiting, etc., and he is very experienced in patent cases in technical areas of computer software and hardware, internet, e-commerce, electronics, telecommunication, semiconductor, image processing, display and lighting, mechanics, automation, etc.. Since March 2007, Mr. Zhang has represented many Fortune 500 companies in over 1,000 patent prosecution and litigation cases, among which a patent invalidity case he handled was selected as the No. 1 case of the Top 10 cases of the Patent Reexamination Board of the China National Intellectual Property Administration in 2016, patent civil litigation cases and the related patent invalidity case he handled were selected by people.cn (a state-run media) as the No. 1 case of the Top 10 typical patent cases in 2018, and a litigation case that he was involved was selected by the Supreme People’s Court of China as one of the Top 10 intellectual property litigation cases of Chinese courts in 2019. He has been invited to give professional speeches at important conferences at home and abroad many times, including speeches at the European Patent Office, the University of Washington in the United States, and the annual Tsinghua-Berkeley Forum.
 
 
 
 
Ms. Boya Yin is very experienced both in trademark prosecution and enforcement aspects, particularly in handling sophisticated trademark administrative/civil litigation cases. Ms. YIN has represented many renowned international enterprises and successfully made their marks to be recognized as well-known marks. The clients she served covered different industries, which included pharmaceuticals, chemistry, food, clothing, cosmetics, international hotels, and media. One trademark administrative litigation case she represented was selected as an “Excellent Trademark Litigation Case” by the CTA in 2015. In 2016, Ms. YIN represented a Japanese client to successfully safeguard its prior copyright before the Supreme People’s Court. Other meaningful cases she won covered trademark issues, such as prior trade name, trademark dilution, distinctiveness, and trademark squatting.
