The 5th China Pharma IP Summit was held in Shanghai from 14 to 16 October. Director Yan Hong led the Lung Tin team to attend the summit. The partner and the deputy director of Lung Tin law firm, Dr. Bo Xu delivered a keynote speech entitled "Publicity for Drugs' Bidding and Offering for Sale" on the afternoon of October 15.
The 5th China Pharma IP Summit was themed with "strengthening IP protection to accelerate the global pharma industry's transformation & upgrade", discussing the hot topics such as patent examination, authorization, standards and differences of patent right confirmation in major countries and regions, medical patent infringement litigation, relief, damages, and act preservation. More than 400 professionals, including legal, judicial and administrative experts in domestic pharmaceutical IP laws, and representatives from both domestic and international pharmaceutical companies attended this summit.
Dr. Xu delivered a keynote speech entitled "Publicity for drugs' bidding and offering for sale" in the afternoon. He introduced the topic from the origin, current situation and controversy of publicity for drugs' bidding, analyzed the new changes that may occur under the drug patent linkage system with relevant questions, and provided suggestions.
During the summit, Dr. Xu joined as a panelist for the topic "Challenges and Opportunities of pharmaceutical enterprises under transformation and upgrading in China". Dr. Xu shared a lot of interesting opinions with other speakers in the discussion.
