Dr. Bo Xu is currently the deputy director of Beijing Lung Tin Law Firm. He has been engaged in intellectual property trials in Beijing Intellectual Property Court and Beijing First Intermediate People's Court for ten years and has tried more than 1,000 cases of various intellectual property rights such as patents, trademarks, copyrights, and unfair competition. The patent administrative dispute case handled by Apple v. Patent Reexamination Board was selected as "Top 10 Innovative Intellectual Property Cases in Chinese Courts in 2014" and handled a series of medical patents, standard essential patents, well-known trademark protection, internet unfair competition disputes, and so on. Dr. Xu has rich trial experience and has participated in the trial of the essential patent infringement cases between Xidian Jietong and Sony (the top ten cases of intellectual property judicial protection in Beijing courts in 2018), the unfair competition cases between Tencent and Century Xinghui's "Window Browser of the World" (the top ten cases of intellectual property judicial protection in Beijing courts in 2018), and the copyright infringement case in fan fiction in the "Hurry Year" (the typical case of Beijing Intellectual Property Court in 2019).

 

Dr. Xu participated in the establishment and operation of the Supreme People's Court Intellectual Property Case Guidance Research (Beijing) Base, and undertook the design and research of relevant rules for the application of intellectual property case litigation. He also undertook more than ten research projects such as the Supreme People's Court, the State Intellectual Property Office, the Ministry of Commerce, Beijing Higher People's Court, Beijing Intellectual Property Court, Beijing First Intermediate People's Court, and Beijing Intellectual Property Office, and published more than 30 professional articles and the monograph Application guide of guiding cases and prior cases of intellectual property litigation. Dr. Xu is also the columnist of China Intellectual Property Journal

 

Dr. Xu has been tracking the trend of the biomedical field for a long time, and the professional WeChat official account "Case Observation of Pharmaceutical Intellectual Property Rights" operated by him has been widely concerned by people in the industry. At present, Dr. Xu has provided professional intellectual property legal services for many well-known enterprises at home and abroad. 

 

Dr. Xu passed the national judicial examination in 2007.
