- Dr. Bo Xu is currently the director of Beijing Lung Tin Law Firm. He has been engaged inintellectual property trials in Beijing Intellectual Property Court and Beijing First Intermediate People's Court for ten years and has tried more than 1,000 cases of various intellectual property rights such as patents, trademarks, copyrights, and unfair competition. The patent administrative dispute case handled by Apple v. Patent Reexamination Board was selected as "Top 10 Innovative Intellectual Property Cases in Chinese Courts in 2014" and handled a series of medical patents, standard essential patents, well-known trademark protection, internet unfair competition disputes, and so on. Dr. Xu has rich trial experience and has participated in the trial of the essential patent infringement cases between Xidian Jietong and Sony (the top ten cases of intellectual property judicial protection in Beijing courts in 2018), the unfair competition cases between Tencent and Century Xinghui's "Window Browser of the World" (the top ten cases of intellectual property judicial protection in Beijing courts in 2018), and the copyright infringement case in fan fiction in the "Hurry Year" (the typical case of Beijing Intellectual Property Court in 2019).Dr. Xu has beenfully involved in the establishment, operation, and related research work of the Intellectual Property Case Guidance Research Base of the Supreme People’s Court (Beijing). He has undertaken more than 10 research projects from various institutions, including the Supreme People’s Court, the Ministry of Commerce, the Beijing Higher People’s Court, the Beijing Intellectual Property Court, and the Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office. He has published over 30 professional articles and authored the book Intellectual Property Litigation: A Guide to Guiding Cases and the Application of Precedents. He also serves as the executive editor for the series of case books titled Dynamic Tracking of Intellectual Property Adjudication in Chinese Courts. Dr. Xu has long been tracking developments in the biopharmaceutical field, and the professional WeChat public account he operates, “Medical Intellectual Property Case Observation,” has received widespread attention from industry insiders.Currently, Dr. Xu serves as the standing legal advisor to several well-known enterprises and has provided high-quality intellectual property legal services to numerous domestic and international companies, including Qualcomm, Corning, Procter & Gamble, LG Energy Solutions, Tencent, OPPO, vivo, Xiaomi, Kuaishou, Yangtze Memory Technologies and CIMC in many important cases.
