Amy Zhang has conducted in-depth research on patent and trade secret laws and practices in China, the United States, and Europe. She offers expert advice and solutions to clients worldwide on global patent invalidity, litigation, licensing, and patent applications.

As a Chinese attorney, she has successfully applied “prior art” evidence in invalidity proceedings and litigation related to gaming cases within China, marking a first in the domestic legal landscape. Additionally, she has overseen numerous cases involving computer protocols, surveillance cameras, medical circuits, standard-essential patents, industrial equipment, and mechanical devices, handling matters related to invalidity, administrative adjudication, and civil litigation.

As a U.S. attorney, she represents cross-border e-commerce and multinational companies in dealing with U.S. ITC 337 investigations, federal court infringement lawsuits, and complaints on platforms like Amazon. Additionally, she provides legal advice on invalidity and infringement related to products exported to the United States and European countries. She issues FTO attorney letters, cease-and-desist letters, and assists companies in responding to received warnings.

Amy Zhang started her patent profession in 2002 and was awarded as Chinese 1-star to 5-star Outstanding Patent Attorney in 2012 - 2016, respectively. Ms. Zhang joined Lung Tin in 2003.
