Practice Experience:
Dr. Fred Zhang focuses on patent matters both in China and abroad, such as USA, Europe, Australia, Canada, India, and Brazil, primarily on patent application preparation and prosecution in the fields of chemical engineering, pharmaceutical, materials, alloys, chemical machinery, medical devices, electrochemistry, and other chemistry-relevant fields, as well as on patent reexamination, invalidation and litigation, due-diligence and freedom-to-operate investigations, and patent analysis. Dr. Zhang has been handling more than 800 patent applications from China, USA, Europe, Japan, South Korea, etc., and more than 1500 office action responses. Dr. Zhang joined Lung Tin in 2010.
 
Dr. Zhang acquired the national patent attorney qualification certificate in 2009, and passed the Chinese Bar Examination in 2017. Dr. Zhang was qualified as a Senior Engineer in Chemical Engineering in 2006. Dr. Zhang is a representative for patent-related civil and administrative litigations recommended by ACPAA and registered before the Supereme People’s Court.
