Dr. Chen has worked in large Japanese and Chinese IP firms for nearly ten years. Dr. Chen focuses on patent practices primarily on patent prosecution and litigation in Japanese and Chinese IP market. His areas of practice are in optoelectronics, semiconductors, electronic communications, and materials,etc. In particular, he has handled many invention and utility model cases in image processing, display, printing, computer, and network technologies, as well as appliances. Dr. Chen has extensive experience in new patent application, revision, review appeal, response to reviews, requests for declaration of invalid patents, etc. Since November 2006, Dr. Chen has represented over 1,000 patent applications for many Fortune 500 companies.

Dr. Chen joined Lung Tin in July 2014.

Dr. Chen was licensed to practice as a Chinese Patent Attorney in 2012, qualified as academic fellow in 2005 and obtained an assistantship in 1996.
